On the night shift, we have a tendency to feel the fatigue around 0200-0300.
We get pretty sleepy by that point if the night is "slow" and our patients are sleeping and stable.
So..we come up with weird things to help us stay awake.
Poor Matt, one of the nurses, had been sick and was wearing a mask that night.
I drew lips and a nose on it.
He wore it for....maybe thirty seconds.
We couldn't get him to wear it into patients rooms.We couldn't understand why he was hesitant?
