My poor son--Nathan is only seven and when he gets a common cold, spends too much time outdoors on a day of inversion, runs too much (or should I say, just does what little boys do best) the asthma gets the best of him. We spent some more time in the hospital on the pediatrics unit--his third stay in six months. He handles it really well, but as his mom, my heart is breaking sitting at his bedside.
I would do anything to trade lungs with him.
The doctor may send us to Primary Childrens Hospital to have further testing on his lungs and to see if different medications may suit Nathan better. Whatever it takes--we hope to just get it under control.
