Let's just say that my hair is damaged. DAMAGED.
I have been a guinea pig to my BFF in beauty school.
I have wanted highlights, bleaching, cuts, layers, A-line, perm, extensions.
I have had it all.

PERMIt has left my hair FRIED, damaged, brittle, broken.
Recently I received a perm that went really, really bad due to bleach highlights prior to the perm. I thought about having it chemically straightened, but I was told that my hair could fall out from the damage of that treatment!
Normally I have thick, gorgeous hair.
After the perm, I had to tie my hair back every day. It was ratty, tangled, dry, UGLY despite using salon shampoo/conditioner/products.

What is it? Protein/amino acid applications coat the hair, sealed onto it by a flat iron. It will protect the hair from heat damage while conditioning it and helping to heal.
Now I have a new crown on top of my head.
My hair is much different now, not frizzy, but healthier and much more manageable.
This would have been really beneficial in the 80-90s when I was using Rave hairspray.
The process took about 1 1/2 hour. Check out my hair after it was washed and blown-dry BEFORE the actual treatment. Can you see the damage and how FRIED it was?
Now my hair is straight, healthy, CHANGED. Not one ounce of curl remains in my hair from the dreadful perm. It is shiny, smooth and feels so healthy. I have been able to wear my hair down again. The damaged perm is GONE. Laura had never tried it on a permed head of hair before, but we were astonished by the results. This works miracles on those with natural curly hair, too--but seriously--it's for damaged hair--curly or not.
You know how you leave the salon thinking, "I love my hair, but I will never be able to to style it myself like how they did." Well, I didn't think I would get my hair straight--but I washed it for the first time after the BB, and lo and behold! It was straight and not frizzy, it took 1/2 the time to blow dry, and I didn't even have to use any product OR my flat iron to make it so straight! Many, many washings later and I STILL am amazed by the results!

I have always loved the many hair do's of Wendy...however, I do know the feeling of having damaged hair. This is the first summer in my life I went totally blonde, and now I too am suffering with dry damaged hair. Ugh! Yours turned out really cute!
